Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

We received a call requesting help with a litter of four shih tzu puppies that the owner did not know how to care for. She lost one of the four and we picked up three. One was a puppy we named FESTUS AS HE WAS A SPECIAL NEED PUPPY WHOSE LEST REAR LEG HAD NO LIGAMINTS IN THAT KNEE AND THEREFORE FREEZING HIS LEG SO IT DID NOT BEND AND IT STAYED OUT TO ONE SIDE WHEN HE SAT OR WALKED. WITH LOTS OF HOT RUBS, SWIMS TO STRENGTH HIS LEG, HE IS NOW ABLE TO WALK AND PLAY WITHOUT PAIN.
