The shampoo products were used to clean dogs who had either been abandoned, stray or owner-surrendered. The shampooing of the dogs helped prepare them for spay or neuter surgery as well as adoption.
This grant assisted in preparing dogs for spay or neuter surgeries. In addition, it assisted in preparing dogs for adoption.

There was a stray dog who was found on the side of the road. The dog was so filthy there was no way the animal shelter’s veterinarian could make an assessment of the dog’s health needs. Once cleaned, the dog was evaluated by the veterinarian. Afterwards, the dog (Cotton) was eligible for adoption. The grant helped in assuring Cotton found a new home!
