The puppies and dogs in our care have been able to enjoy their time with our rescue because of this grant. We have been able to provide them NylaBones, Kong toys, and some stuffed toys to make their days more entertaining.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.
A litter of puppies came to us. They were born in the country and many of their owner’s dogs had been run over by passing vehicles. They were not interested in building barriers to keep the dogs safe.
The puppies were riddled with worms and fleas. Some were even anemic. We started vetting them as soon as they arrived. We were able to comfort them with stuffed toys which has made their stay with us entertaining.
They are now healthy enough to start getting fixed and on the road to get adopted.
