One dog whom this grant helped was Bessie. Bessie and her puppies were found dumped on a rural country road in the middle of the night. It rained that morning, and by the time we got there to help, they were in the blazing sun and we thought many of the puppies would die. They all made it! They received vaccines and supplements to help rehydrate them thanks to this grant.
