Hawkeye (first photo), an Australian shepherd, is one of the dogs aided by a Sponsor a Pet donation. He came to us as a very nervous, scared dog. He was about 3 years old and had spent most of his life living at the end of a chain or running loose. He missed out on much of the socializing that comes from being part of a family. The donation helped us provide him help from a dog behaviorist, who brought Hawkeye to the point where he could be successfully adopted.

Another dog helped was Dexter, a terrier/Chihuahua who needed medication for liver disease. Louie (third photo), a playful pug, received a few toys and help with veterinary expenses.
