How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

To purchase cat castles for our shelter cats.

The Cat Castles are providing a safe, quiet place for cats who are housed in our free roaming and cat isolation cages to hang out in. It has helped to lower the stress level in cats who are housed at the shelter. Once adopted, the Cat Castle is turned into a pet carrier and the cat goes home in his/her carrier.

March, 31 and April - 31 cats.

It was really hard to catch a picture of “Shamrock” a very shy kitty who has been moved up to the free roaming cat room. He likes to hang out on the box.
Another new kitty, “Dancer” likes her castle. She is currently in our cat isolation cages waiting to move up to the adoption floor.
