Sherman was attacked by an adult dog when he was 3 months old. He suffered a broken jaw, broken eye socket, broken nasal cavity and loss of his eyesight in the eye that was damaged. He needed to be rushed to the University of Minnesota to be saved from these injuries. They had to do emergency surgery on his jaw. Some of his teeth were lost and he will still need dental care/surgery in the future. He is currently 6 months old and thriving, but still needing care from the U of M doctors. He will be adopted when they give the okay, or if an adopter lives close enough to the university to make sure he gets to the doctor as needed. Meet Sherman here.
