No Dog Left Behind: Emergency Medical Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
We used this to pay for Ringo's medical expenses.
We had more than $4,000 in medical expenses for Ringo, so this helped pay for the expense. We also did a Facebook fundraiser to help pay for this. This allowed us to give him the care he needed and still take in other dogs.

Ringo came to us in May with his mom, Molly. Ringo is a beautiful 1-year-old English setter. Ringo was in foster care and soon on his way to his happily-ever-after when, tragically, a fire broke out in the foster’s home. Ringo was home alone. Thankfully, Ringo survived, but he has needed ongoing veterinary care for complications from the smoke inhalation ever since. One of the vet techs who was taking care of him fell in love and decided to foster him and then adopt him! We know Ringo has a wonderful home where he can get the care he needs to live a long and happy life!
