3rd Coast Labrador Rescue: Sponsor a Pet Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We used the grant towards the medical care required by one of our fosters, Bear.

We often take in dogs requiring substantial veterinary care that goes far above and beyond the adoption fees that we recoup. Without donations, we would not be able to continue caring for such dogs.

How many pets did this grant help?

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Since he’s been in foster care, he has received a lot more physical exercise and a proper diet and is doing splendid. He’s still looking for a furever home — read more here:

UPDATE from May 25, 2016: To say that Bear hit the jackpot is a great understatement. After being in foster care for four months, Bear was adopted by a wonderful couple living in Illinois. As you can see from the last three photos, I think he will be a happy boy there.
