This grant is intended to help find a suitable adopter for a special senior cat currently in our program, Ginger, who has diabetes. We are able to provide money for her insulin needs to the right adopter.

Ginger’s health and weight continue to improve in her loving foster’s care.
Ginger’s weight loss resulted in reducing her insulin requirement from four to three units. Ginger’s sugar level was a dangerous 439 when she was first diagnosed and was at 162 when last checked. This reduction means the grant money will last longer for her needed supplies.
There have been no potential adopters to date, so we have updated her Petfinder profile to include the financial assistance being offered, hoping to generate interest.
