The grant for $500 allowed us to operate our birthing suite during this pandemic.

This grant helped with the care of seven pregnant cats and then contributed to vaccination, deworming, and food and supplies for foster homes.

All seven moms and babies are still in foster and scheduled to return to the shelter soon. All but one of these cats came to the shelter as pregnant strays. The owner-surrendered cat named Pearls gave birth within 12 hours of arrival in the safety of the birthing suite.
