This picture is of a sweet golden retriever mix, Vicki. Vicki’s owner moved to lower Michigan and left her behind. She was left in an apartment alone for over a week until the landlord did an inspection and found poor Vicki alone, covered in some of her feces and smelling terribly like urine. After being abandoned, she was surrendered to our care. We were able to give her a much needed bath. Doesn’t she look wonderful now?
