DANIELLE’S STORY: On Sept. 21, a good Samaritan happened upon two adult cats and two small kittens. The lady explained to us that she lives out in the country and people continuously drop stray cats on her property. The lady also told us that she had already offered her home to many stray cats and could not keep anymore. On Oct. 16, Danielle was adopted to her new furever home.

SAWYER’S STORY: Upon our arrival to work on the morning of Aug. 5, we were alarmed to find that over the night, someone decided to leave four small kittens on our property. These kittens were not confined to a crate or box, they were literally free-roaming the Humane Society grounds, an employee actually had to climb a tree to rescue one of the little kittens who was so frightened, it had taken cover in a branch. Once shelter staff had wrangled the four baby kittens, we immediately brought them into the safety of the shelter and started to prepare them for adoption. On Nov. 1, Sawyer (one of the four kittens) was adopted and moved in to his new furever home!
