Peekaboo came to us as a stray back in July. She went into a foster home to help socialize her, as she was understandably frightened after being rescued from a train track.

She began to have seizures while in the foster home. While the exact cause of the seizures wasn’t determined, it was recommended to us to do a delayed vaccination schedule.

With assistance from this grant, we were able to ensure that enough vaccines were available to allow us to follow through with the delayed schedule while also vaccinating the other cats and kittens we took in during Kitten Season.

Peekaboo has since been adopted. She is now called Piper and is enjoying life with her new family.
