This money was used towards the special food used to help our emaciated dog, Mercury.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Mercury was a a 15-year-old Weimaraner who came to us in very poor, emaciated condition. This money was used to help purchase special food which caused her to gain much-needed muscle and fat. Once a weak and tired girl, with a healthy diet and exercise, she became a healthy powerhouse of a dog! She is happy in her new home where is now taking two-mile walks every day!
