The money was used to spay/neuter/vet a transport of puppies we saved and had transported to Maine.

They were spayed and neutered and also given age-appropriate vaccinations before adoption.

Your grant was a huge help for our rescue. We rescued and vetted two very shy puppies from a shelter in Mississippi and socialized and vetted both; they are now in wonderful homes. We committed to a little pup who was found in Mississippi. He was tiny and needed to be bottle-fed. Once healthy and old enough to travel, he came to Maine and was fully vetted and adopted. We also committed to a litter of Catahoula pups covered in fleas and ticks. They were vetted in Mississippi and, once healthy enough, they were transported to Maine where we had them examined, vetted and spay/neutered. They are now in loving homes. We absolutely could not do this without Petfinder for the exposure AND the generosity of the Petfinder Foundation’s grant. We cannot thank you enough for your support and kindness.
