How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
We were awarded the Cat Enrichment Grant, and with those funds, we could provide our feline friends with things we could not usually afford. Since then, the cats have been more playful and the items have helped us be able to interact with the cats more in order for them to become more friendly.

The grant has provided much joy to all the cats. We picked Burr (first and second photos) to feature here, though, because he is one of our younger cats.
Being a younger cat waiting to get adopted can be pretty dull. With the new toys, he has been able to convince some of the other cats to play with and chase him.
Burr has not been adopted yet, but we have high hopes that, with some new pictures playing and showing their true colors, everyone will have a new opening to a better life.
