How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The beds were used for both shelter cats and dogs. They were especially helpful for the seniors, as they provide an additional layer of comfort for older dogs.

We were able to make our shelter pets more comfortable, thereby reducing their stress and anxiety.

How many pets did this grant help?

Our shelter population has been at approximately 30 dogs and 150 cats over the past several months.

The beds helped the mama cat and her babies in the photo. She had been found outside in the dirt under a porch. Being able to bring her in and provide a safe, secure and comfortable place for her to nurse and raise her babies is why we do what we do.
