Companion Animal Alliance: Sponsor a Pet Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The money was used to provide veterinary care for animals living at Companion Animal Alliance, specifically for spay/neuter surgery.

The grant allowed us to use the funds to perform spay/neuter surgeries on animals within our care. CAA spays and neuters every animal before it can go to its forever home. This grant allowed us to perform neuter surgeries on our animals so they were ready to go to their forever homes.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Before any animal is ready to go to their forever home, Companion Animal Alliance wants to ensure that they can live long, healthy lives with their new families. This includes performing spay/neuter surgeries on all adoptable dogs. When animals come to our shelter they get checked out by one of our veterinarians, microchipped, vaccinated and spayed or neutered. This grant helped dogs like Liberty (pictured) find their forever homes.
