Yankee was brought to our shelter in early November after a good Samaritan found him as a stray in Baton Rouge. Suffering from “black dog syndrome,” Yankee was often overlooked by potential adopters. With the grant from Sponsor a Pet, we were able to keep him healthy, heartworm-free, and happy during his stay at Companion Animal Alliance. In early January, Yankee found his forever home and is now living the happy life with his new dad.
