How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Kongs were used to enrich the lives of shelter dogs. It was like Christmas in March for the ARNO pups! They really help dogs with the stress and boredom of being in a shelter environment.

ARNO is a volunteer-based organization. We stretch every dollar. Your kind donation not only gave our pups some great distraction, but it was also a nice boost to our staff and volunteers, having fun passing out the Kongs and watching the dogs' reaction.

Anna is an ARNO rescue who has always been a little mouthy when she is excited. She really seemed so much more relaxed with her own little Kong to chew. One of our approved applicants wanted to adopt a long-term ARNO rescue. He is very committed with training, and Kongs are a big part of it. Anna is doing great in her new home with her bed, toys and Kongs.
