Medical care for dogs and cats rescued during Covid-19 from small rural shelters where they were in great danger. This grant covered DHLPP vaccines and bordetella as well as boosters for 63 dogs and puppies!

ARNO pulled dogs like Snoopy from rural municipal shelters. They were in need of shots and medical care. Because the grant helped us with the very important vaccines to keep everyone healthy, we were able to rescue even more.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Snoopy is a 12-year-old rat terrier pulled from a rural shelter. He was in need of vaccines, but also had a terrible ear infection, a large wound on his face and a growth on his leg. He would not have had much chance where he was. Snoopy is the Pet of the Month at ARNO and is loving his life in a foster home as he awaits his forever home. He is a dream. He sleeps all night with no accidents. He loves walking and is just a huge lover! You can meet Snoopy here.
