How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We used the donated Kongs for enrichment while in the shelter.

The donated Kongs helped our shelter dogs to get enrichment time while they waited for their new homes in our shelter. Because the Kongs are durable and easy to sanitize, they are reusable. This allows us to continue using them for longer periods of time.

The three dogs in the pictures, Angus, Vandy, and Buddy, were on our adoption floor when we received the Kong donations. They were given peanut butter in their Kongs and were the happiest dogs because of it. Through our partnership with Wings of Rescue, all three dogs were transferred out of our shelter to other shelters where they went to their new homes.
