How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The product was used in the kitten room, adult cat room and for senior dogs to lie on.

The kittens congregated on the pad every day and napped. The pad was completely covered with kittens. It is a very comfortable place to the cats to lie on. And it makes the stainless-steel cages much more comfortable for the senior dogs.

How many pets did this grant help?

Since the time we received the pads, approximately 20 kittens, at least 10 adult cats and 10 senior small and medium adult dogs.

The day the P.L.A.Y. beds arrived, we put one in the kitten room. Five minutes later, when we walked by the room they were all piled on the pad socializing, then napping. They are so much more comfortable on the pads and it helps new kittens to be in contact with the other kittens, giving them an immediate sense of belonging.
