Jojo, our blue and gold macaw, really loves his Kong toy that we tied to his favorite rope. He loves to swing it back and forth and chew on the Kong. From his Petfinder profile: “Jojo is a blue and gold macaw. We were told he is male. He is about 10 years old, so any potential adopter should plan to be committed to him for at least the next 50 years, as macaws live 60-75 years. Jojo has had a rough life before coming to the rescue. He was neglected for several years, which led to him chewing and plucking his feathers. He has stopped barbering and plucking and his feathers are now growing back in nicely. Because of some of his behaviors, we suspect Jojo was abused, but he is growing more confident daily, and he is a really sweet bird once he has a few days to get to know you. Jojo can be nippy when he’s in his cage, but when he’s outside the cage he is quite a lovebug. He talks a little and loves to dance to music. ” Meet Jojo: www.petfinder.com/petdetail/35643707
