No Kill Louisville: Shelter Challenge Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The grant funds were used to for Pet Food Bank overhead expenses (such as rent, utilities, and other materials used for packaging food), medical needs of the animals in our foster/adoption program (each animal is spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, brought up to date on all shots, and heart-worm tested before being adopted out), and other various expenses incurred from our other programs.

By having the funds to vet them we were able to pull animals more animals from the kill shelters.
