Animal Refuge Center, Inc.: Sponsor a Pet Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We used the funds donated by the sponsor toward medicines and pet vaccinations.

We have a sick bay area where sick and pre-spay or -neuter pets are held. The medicines and vaccinations purchased by these funds helped treat sick cats with upper-respiratory infections and other ailments, and to prevent further illnesses once they were healthy again.

How many pets did this grant help?

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Our beautiful tabby and white female, Gabby (first photo), was adopted this past Thursday. Gabby was found and brought to the Animal Refuge Center by friends of ours in Radcliff. When Gabby was found, she was very hungry and it was clear to see that this precious young kitty had already been mother to a couple of litters of kittens. She does like to talk from time to time, so her name is very fitting. Gabby is easily content and no doubt she is settling in just fine and will likely be a couch potato.
