We had a longer timer in our shelter and were able to use this money to help reduce his adoption fee from $75 to $52.50. We believe this helped to finally allow him to find a home. From his Petfinder profile: “Tucker came in on Nov. 27, 2014, as a stray. We think he is around 8 years old but he sure acts a lot younger. He is shy and timid at first but warms up quickly and has a wonderful personality! He loves to play with people and pretty much ignores other dogs. He had a light dental (which means deep cleaning is a good idea in another six months or so) and was neutered and had a haircut to get the mats out but will need professional grooming to look his best. But he thinks he is pretty cute right now as-is!! He was also tested for heartworm and is negative.”
