Boomer is a German short-haired pointer who has been at our facility twice in the last 12 months. This second time, he arrived as a stray, and was very emaciated. The adopter didn’t return any of our efforts to contact them, so Boomer went up for adoption again.

He is such a sweet dog, but it took more than 20 days to improve his condition. Finally, during our fee-waived special, he found a new home!

Within 48 hours of adopting Boomer, his new owner sent us these amazing photos of him enjoying life out of the shelter. The new owner says he is getting along with everyone in the family and is being a great family pet.
