Regina's Rescues: Kia Pet Adoption Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Regina's Rescues used the Kia Pet Adoption grant funding to provide free adoptions for 20 dogs and cats. This grant removed costs associated with adoption and helped our rescue open up kennels so that we can make a greater impact on our rural community.

How many pets did this grant help?

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Zor (first photo) and his 5-week-old siblings were dumped on the side of the road in a very rural community. The pound contacted Regina’s Rescues to get Zor and his siblings since they were so weak and would not thrive at the local pound.

After we provided a safe place to eat, play, and grow, Zor’s personality developed nicely and he was quickly adopted.
