How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The KIA Pet Adoption Grant supported Always and Furever's mission of finding each and every pet a forever family. These vital grant funds supported families with free pet adoptions and helped Always and Furever adopt over 50 dogs and cats during this grant cycle.

Families were so excited that they could focus on their new family member and spend their money on good food, beds, collars and treats for their new furry friend.

Maribelle (first photo) was found severely injured after being hit by a car. She was scheduled to be euthanized for her injuries. Always and Furever stepped in, saved her and rushed her to the ER.

Every prognosis pointed towards having to amputate her leg, but thanks to the miracle-work of the specialist vets, they were able to save her leg and now she is a happy, healthy young pup full of life and energy!

She caught the eye of a foster (second photo) and within days her foster had decided to fail and adopt her: a true happy ending!
