Jose, a Boston terrier (first photo), came to us with several problems. The most major of the problems was that this puppy is a hermaphrodite. He also had cherry eye in both eyes. The appropriate surgeries were performed and he is now being very ornery and carries all the toys and toilet paper he can find through the doggy door outside. His human family loves him!
Sweet Pea, a Chihuahua (second photo), was born in the rescue along with four other pups. Pea never got adopted. No one would take her. She came back from foster with blisters all over her body. She was taken directly to the vet, who ran an allergy test on her and took several skin scrapes to get the right antibiotics to get her skin cleared up. The vet said it was the worst case she had ever cared for. Pea has done well on the meds. She has been adopted and is happy and sharing her home with two other dogs!
