The grant allowed us to have Ace tested for allergies and get the necessary meds he needed.

One: Ace, a terrier and Chihuahua mix.

The allergy testing provided a list of the things Ace is allergic to. Although he isn’t completely over his issues, we were able to provide sufficient information to the adopter and her vet to allow her to adopt him. Ace was adopted on Dec. 23, 2015, by the family who had adopted his sister six months previously. The very best Christmas present ever for Ace: He got a new family and was reunited with his sister!
