How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The grant provided feeders that challenge the dogs to sniff out food and figure out how to retrieve it from the feeders. The feeding process is slowed down for those dogs who eat too fast, causing dietary issues. This grant is providing ongoing enrichment for all the dogs at the shelter.

Since the grant continues to help every dog in our shelter every day, it is difficult to select an individual pet to focus on.

Dozer is a pit mix who has been at the shelter for eight months. He is currently being vetted by a family that is serious about adoption. His behavior has been great during the meetings with family members.
