Almost Home was awarded the 2020 P.L.A.Y. Pet Beds Grant from the Petfinder Foundation. The 10 Chill Pad pet beds were used for the dogs in our care at our kennel in Schaumburg, IL.
Our kennel dogs each have an elevated bed with blankets, play time outside, and plenty of food and fresh water, but life in the kennel can still be stressful. These Chill Pads add comfort and security during their time at our kennel while they wait to find their forever homes. Thank you so much for helping our dogs feel even more comfortable!

Nicole came to us from Alabama. She is a sweet girl looking for her forever home. She is a young adult mix who is spayed, heartworm-negative, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Nicole knows her basic commands and how to walk at heel. Nicole can be hesitant with some strangers, but once she gets to know you, she is all smiles and butt-wiggles. Nicole has a low-key nature that makes her a great companion. She is content napping near her people or watching the activity around her. She’s house-trained and rarely gets into mischief. While she waits for her forever home at our kennel, she is much more comfortable with her soft fluffy P.L.A.Y bed from the Petfinder Foundation (see photo). Thank you!
