Since the REDI training, Partners for Pets has made changes within our marketing, adoption fees, and application questionnaires that have made adoption and services more welcoming to all residents of our surrounding communities.
We’ve found that by doing so, community members are more interested in working with our organization to find their perfect pet, receive veterinary services or pantry assistance for a pet in their home, or volunteer within our organization.
Through community programs such as our free vaccination and pantry services, Partners for Pets was able to help more than 50 community members receive lifesaving vaccinations for their beloved pets. That included pets like Mr. Handsome (first photo), a 2-year-old female cat whose owner was faced with having to re-home or surrender her if she did not receive a rabies vaccination within 30 days.
