How many pets did this grant help?

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Sully, a 2-year-old boxer mix, was rescued by the Cedar Valley Humane Society. He arrived at the shelter emaciated after being trapped inside a confined crate, living in his own excrement. Barely able to move in a small space without food and water for an unknown amount of time, he weighed only 22 lbs. Sully was in-taken at the shelter and received core vaccinations including distemper, bordetella, deparasitizing and more supplied thanks to the funds received from the Petfinder Foundation.

After spending some time at the shelter, Sully was putting on a healthy amount of weight and medically, his outlook was looking great! Sully doubled his body weight, received two rounds of core vaccines, and was adopted a few weeks later to a family close to the organization. He is making himself right at home and continues to improve daily after being provided the necessary care he so desperately needed.
