HIHS utilized this grant to waive adoption fees for all adult animals ages 6 months+. It allowed us to promote our adoptable pets and encourage more people to come in and adopt!

We had so many of our longest-stay dogs and cats find homes as a result of this grant.

Nui and Jersey are a bonded pair of senior dogs who came to us after their owner died. At 8 years old, Nui and Jersey had spent their entire lives together.

They were finally adopted, together, after being in our care since January!
