How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The product was used to help with mental stimulation, chew therapy for growing teeth and jaws, and to help with crate training and pure entertainment.

It helped greatly to keep the pets entertained and out of trouble while we got our regular day-to-day necessary tasks done. It helped with training and curbing some negative growing-puppy behaviors.

We had one sweet girl named Harley who came to the rescue with her own Kong. She was always on a mission to collect as many of the Kongs at the rescue that she could find each day. She LOVED her Kong toys! She was adopted to a wonderful family — and we sent her home with a few Kong toys for good measure.
