How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The toys were used to stimulate the dogs during playtime and to keep them moving. I know most times they are used for the dogs when resting to chew on, but we also use them to keep the dogs active.

It helped us and our dogs by giving them something they could chew on safely when indoors when the weather is too bad to play outside. Plus it helps keep the tartar build-up down on the older dogs' teeth.

Brownie benefitted the most because he needs to lose weight. We will throw the larger Kongs so he can chase them as they bounce. He is not listed currently, as he shy and timid, so we are working on those issues.
