When Benji was pickup by Animal Control, the officer knew that he needed help. The officer brought him straight to us. We said yes without question.

At only 13 weeks old, this boy had been through so much. At first it looked as though he was just malnourished, but upon further examination, he had an old injury to his right front leg that was never treated.

Since the injury happened well before we got him, the muscle had atrophied; his leg was not useful to him and needed to be amputated. Thankfully, he was able to get his surgery, recovered in a loving home, and was adopted the day he was ready for adoption!
