Planned PEThood of Georgia: COVID-19 Operation Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This money was used to purchase vaccinations for 50 cats and kittens in our care when COVID-19 began.

COVID-19 began right in the prime of kitten season. We had more than 100 moms and kittens at one point in foster care. Each needed vaccinations and surgery before being adopted. This helped us afford the vital vaccinations required to set these animals on the right path to adoption.

How many pets did this grant help?

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Pepper Pots and her Avenger kittens were just a few of the cats who were helped with these funds. Pepper Potts was adopted and spayed. She no longer has to worry about caring for her babies. Each of her babies — Dr. Strange, Rocky Raccoon, and Black Widow — were adopted into loving homes as well. This grant allowed us the ability to care for this family.
