We were able to reduce fees or fully sponsor five dogs and four cats with this grant! So far, one dog and two cats have been adopted who were supported with this grant. This grant is wonderful!

One of the adoptions that has occurred because of this grant is Romy’s (first photo)!

This sweet kitty came to us as a kitten in August 2022. All her siblings were adopted and she just waited patiently.

A wonderful family came in looking for companions for their mother, whom they live with, and decided to adopt Romy and another kitty named Matcha. Matcha has some special needs so it was such a blessing that these wonderful people adopted them both.

They really wanted a third kitten, but we asked them to give Romy and Matcha time to settle in and then come back. Well, they came back this last week and adopted Penny (second photo), another cat sponsored by this grant!

In addition, they have become active donors, so not only did this grant help with adoptions but also increased our donor reach! Our vet called the other day to mention how wonderful this family is and they have done everything required to help Matcha. We are so thankful for this family and for this Kia grant!

We still have quite a few pets up for adoption whose fees were sponsored and reduced thanks to this grant. We know they will find their forever families soon!
