We used the Stretch and Scratch cat scratchers in our Quiet Room. We are a free-roaming shelter and use the Quiet Room for cats that don’t do well with lots of other cats. At this time, we have four older lady cats in the quiet room — but don’t let their age fool you, they scratch up more things than all our other cats combined! They have previously scratched gouges in the walls and doors of their room. Due to our limited budget, we couldn’t provide the amount of scratchers they needed as we rely on donations for these types of things. The scratches were the perfect size and were easy to install with their “tie straps” on their cat condo legs/shelves.
