Food and litter for our cats in foster care.

The Petfinder Foundation’s support helped our foster parents, many whom were out of work, to continue to care for our cats and kittens until adoption.

How many pets did this grant help?

Approximately 125 cats and kittens were in foster care during the major shut-down period due to Covid.

Aurora and Athena are a pair of calico sisters who had been returned three times due to families moving or adopter allergies. These 6-year-old girls would have had nowhere to go without a foster stepping up to help. Because we were able to supply their food and litter, they were able to be cared for until the perfect home came along. They were adopted by the receptionist of one of our veterinarians and now have a wonderful home. Fourth time’s a charm!
