Spay the Strays, Inc.: Cat Enrichment Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Thankfully we were able to get several bags of cat food, several cans of KMR for the kittens, and several bags of cat litter and are able to use the remainder of the funds for spaying two cats in foster care named Fig and Newton.

We are able to feed many of our cats in foster care as well as provide the bottle babies with food and provide food for some of our feral colonies the organizations takes care of on a daily basis. In addition, we are able to supply some of the volunteers with litter. We also purchased much-needed cleaning supplies for several of the volunteers. Lastly, we are able to have two of the kittens who are residing in foster care spayed and neutered.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

This helped us to have two of our precious babies named Fig and Newton receive all their medical treatment and get sterilized before they go to their forever home. These two have been preadopted today on June 7, 2020, and before they go to their new home they will be fully vetted, as it is our policy to have every adopted cat or kitten fully vetted before the go to their new forever homes.
