How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We used the Kia Pet Adoption grant during the national Clear the Shelters event in August. Thanks to this grant, we were able to offer our cats for a $25 adoption fee using the Kia Pet Adoption grant to cover the balance of our normal fee (which is typically $75 for adult cats). This event was a huge success and 20 of our adult cats were adopted at the $25 special adoption fee.

Twenty adult cats were adopted at the special adoption rate of $25 thanks to the Kia Pet Adoption Grant subsidizing the remaining $50 of each adoption.

Broski was one successful adoption. Broski had been lingering at our shelter for more than six months before he finally connected with his new forever family, who adopted him on Aug. 30.
