Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Stormy Princess (first photo) is on a special medicine for her heart condition that we have to get from the pharmacy once a month. We are using the grant money for her meds; she just had her yearly check-up and, other than being overweight, she is doing great! Even pets can be the victims of domestic violence, because when quick decisions are made, you do the best you can for the animals. Stormy Princess was given to a relative who turned out to be allergic and could not keep her. Stormy Princess lost two homes in a short period of time. She is a very friendly and social kitty who, shortly after arriving at Cats Angels, was diagnosed with a heart condition. She is on daily medication and her condition is under control. Kenji (second photo) is our little blind boy, but don’t tell him that; he is very playful and has a buddy named Big D. They share a room and, before our Thrift Store opens, the two of them get to roam the store and “go shopping.” We are using Kenji’s donation for the special cans of wet food he likes both morning and night. He is in great health and waiting for a home! Meet Kenji: https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/31139781

TuTu (third photo) is our little girl who had to have double knee surgery. She is fully recovered now, but has gained quite a bit of weight. She is on a special low-calorie food to help her lose some of her excess weight. We are using her donations for that food. The good news, we have an adoption application on Tutu and are keeping our fingers crossed she will find a home that will help her exercise. Meet TuTu: https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/28164570
