Tina came into our shelter due to her owner’s death. At the time she arrived, she was almost 9 years old. She had not had any veterinary treatment for several years. It was determined that she has dry-eye syndrome and skin issues. She will need to be on medication for the rest of her life to keep her comfortable and avoid further damage to her eyes, and special medicated shampoo for her skin. Due to this additional, ongoing medical expense, we lowered her adoption fee and found a wonderful lady to take on the needed care for Tina. Tina is thriving and enjoying her new home.
