Seminole County Animal Services: Purina and Amazon Treats for the Holidays Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We received the Friskies Party Mix Favorites cat treats and the cats loved them. We shared the treats with some of our in-house cats awaiting adoption, as well as giving a container of treats to everyone who adopted at cat or kitten from us. They were a big hit.

Cat treats are always an added bonus for our cats since treats are not in our food budget. Plus giving the treats to new adopters encouraged the new adopters to continue giving their new pet treats when they saw how much the pets loved them.

Little Goblin (first photo) was one of the few kittens we had in the shelter this winter due to the season. Being a black cat, they are harder to find homes for. But lucky for Goblin, his pint-sized size and personality landed him a great home and he went home with a goody bag with his Friskies Party Mix to start his great new life.
